
A cherished tradition which involves the lighting of six thousand luminarias in Tlaquepaque’s courtyards and walkways. Dozens of entertaining events, including performances by carolers, musicians and dancers will be scheduled.

Christmas Concert and Living Nativity - Pilgrimage to Bethlehem - a musical re-enactment of the events of the first Christmas. Watch the pilgrimage as it unfolds on the streets of Tlaquepaque as Mary rides through on a donkey accompanied by Joseph. The "Ancient Bethlehem Market" begins at 2:30pm and is free. The performance includes shepherds, street vendors, Magi and live animals. The concert which will begin at 5:00pm is free and based on a first come, first serve basis. Crowds gather on the streets of Tlaquepaque which will come alive with live animals and 50 costumed characters for the Potter's Hand production of Journey to Jerusalem. Travel back in time to an event that happened over 2,000 years ago. Admission is free. Artistic director is Jane Alden with musical direction by LeAnne Leman. Celebration of Mexican Independence Day.
Continuing a long tradition of fabulous food, music, dance and entertainment for young and old, this year’s Fiesta promises to be extraordinary. The flower-strewn streets of Tlaquepaque will ring with the music of strolling mariachi and fiery flamenco dancers. Enjoy Ballet Folklorico and visit the variety of artists located throughout the Arts and Crafts Village representing our shops and galleries. Admission is free and there will be a free shuttle service from the uptown parking lot. This event will take place from 10:00am - 5:00pm. For additional information please call (928) 282-4838.
