Rock Newcomb Press Release 2006

Arizona-based artist, Rock Newcomb, was an award winner at the Festival of Western Arts in San Dimas, California in April. He participated in the invitational Peppertree Ranch Art Show in Santa Ynez, California in May, and in the juried Phippen Museum Western Art Show and the invitational Miniature Masterpieces Sow in Prescott, Arizona in May.

Rock Newcomb will participate in the invitational Cheyenne Frontier Days Western Art Show and Governor's Cup in Cheyenne, Wyoming in July.

Rock Newcomb has been invited to exhibit his Southwestern still lifes in the inaugural "Quest for the West" exhibition at the Eiteljorg Museum of the American Indian and Western Art in Indianapolis, Indiana in September.

Also in September, Rock has been invited to participate in the "Western Visions" Miniatures Show at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and in the Buffalo Bill Art Show in Cody, Wyoming.

In December, Rock has been invited to participate again in the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in conjunction with National Finals Rodeo.
